Illness Policy

PLEASE be sensitive to your child’s condition before leaving him/her in a nursery, the Barnyard, or an elementary classroom. We want you to be able to worship each week, but we also want to keep the spread of germs to a minimum.

Please keep your child at home when you observe any of the following:
Fever/vomiting
Diarrhea
Discharge in or around the eyes
Green or yellow runny nose
Excessive coughing
Questionable rash
Any communicable disease

If your child becomes ill while in a classroom, you will be promptly notified.

If your child is being treated with an antibiotic, he or she should have received treatment for at least 24 hours before coming to Sunday school. For your child’s protection, we ask our caregivers and teachers to follow these same guidelines.
