Speaker Biographies:

Dr. J. Robertson McQuilkinDr. J. Robertson McQuilkin, President Emeritus (Columbia Intl University)
Robertson McQuilkin served as the third president of Columbia International University from 1968 to 1990 distinguishing himself as a spiritual and practical visionary. Under his leadership, CIU made advancements in accreditation standing and faculty development, growth in the graduate and seminary programs, the initiation of radio ministry and the expansion of campus facilities. He resigned from the presidency to care for his wife, Muriel, who had reached the stage of Alzheimer's disease in which she needed full-time care.
Prior to becoming president of CIU, McQuilkin served as headmaster of Ben Lippen School, then for 12 years as a missionary in Japan.
Today McQuilkin is a speaker and writer, engaging in an extensive conference ministry across America and overseas. He also serves as president emeritus of CIU.
In 2005 McQuilkin married Deborah Jones, a professor at the University of South Carolina School of Nursing. Deborah also has a teaching ministry in conferences and women's groups. Between them, Robertson and Deborah have nine children: four in Christian ministry, five in the marketplace.

Dr. Michael F. Ross is a native of Columbus, Ohio, where he grew up a Roman Catholic and was educated in Catholic parochial schools. He holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from The Ohio State University, and an MBA in Management from Miami (Ohio) University. Dr. Ross has also done post graduate study in Economics and Public Administration at Memphis State University. He was converted at the age of twenty seven. He holds a Master of Divinity degree from Columbia Biblical Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi. He became the organizing pastor of the Surfside Presbyterian Church in Surfside Beach (Myrtle Beach), South Carolina, in 1982 and remained as pastor of that church until 1992. He then served as the Senior Minister of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Jackson, Mississippi from 1992-2006. In August of 2006, Dr. Ross was called to be the senior minister of Christ Covenant Church in Matthews, North Carolina. Dr. Ross travels annually overseas on preaching and teaching missions and is increasingly involved in the ministry of Church Revitalization in the United States. He is a member of the Central Carolina Presbytery and has served on the Standing Judicial Commission of the PCA’s General Assembly. Dr. Ross has authored two books, Preaching For Revitalization and The Light of the Psalms: Deepening Your Faith with Every Psalm, both by Christian Focus Publishers.

Rev. Mike HigginsRev. Mike Higgins – Dean of Students (Covenant Theological Seminary)
Mike Higgins completed his BA in Biology from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis  and his Master of Divinity from Covenant Theological Seminary in 1996.   Mike was ordained by the Church of God in Christ (COGIC) in 1985, and served as a church planter in West Germany, Kansas, and Missouri.  He was received into the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) as a Teaching Elder through the Tennessee Valley Presbytery in the spring of 1997.  Mike was commissioned a PCA Chaplain (MAJ) in the winter of 1999.  Mike is now a Chaplain (Colonel) assigned to the Pentagon as a personnel manager for Army Reserve chaplains. 
Mike is a graduate of the Army’s Command and General Staff College, Division and Installation Chaplain’s Course.  Prior to his service as an Army chaplain, Mike was a field artillery battery commander, Army writing and leadership instructor and an operations staff officer. 
Mike served as the first Moderator of the PCA’s Metro Atlanta Presbytery. He held that position for two years 2007-2009. Mike served as the Senior Pastor of Redemption Fellowship (PCA) in Fayetteville, Georgia for ten years 2001-2011.  He is presently the Dean of Students of Covenant Seminary. Mike has been married to his friend Renee for 31 years, and they have two daughters, Mary Yvonne (Chattanooga) and Michelle Joanna (STL), and a grandson named Moses.

Rev. Rohan CrownRev. Rohan Crown – Church Planter
Rohan was born and raised in Australia.  He is a graduate of Mississippi College and RTS in Jackson.  Rohan and his wife, Rebecca, have served with Desire Street Ministries in New Orleans working with Inner-City African American boys and as Assistant Pastor of Crestwood PCA in Edmonton, Alberta.  After serving two years as a church planting intern with Westminster Chapel in Lethbridge, Alberta, Rohan is now beginning a new PCA work, Amazing Grace Community Church.
