Regular Programs

TP stands for Timothy Project. It is the middle school small group ministry that meets on Sunday mornings (during the Sunday School hour). These small groups are grade and gender specific and are led by two or three staff-selected high school students.

Link is the high school small group ministry that meets on Wednesday nights from 7-9. The evening begins in the Harbor for worship and a message and ends in small groups for discussion and prayer. Each small group is led by one or two adults who attend Christ Covenant and have a passion for high school students.

C2 stands for Considering Christ and is the outreach ministry of Christ Covenant Youth Ministry. C2 meets on Sunday nights at 7:30 in the Middle School Gym at the church. All students are invited to attend and bring a non-believing friend with them. Each club begins with a fun game and the leaders present the Gospel in a creative way.

Sunday Morning is the Sunday Bible School for high school youth. Sunday Morning begins at 9:00 a.m. in the Harbor. After worship and announcements, students split into grade-appropriate classes to study the week's topic.

CCYM Prayer meets from 6:30-7:00 on Wednesday nights in the Dock. All students and parents are invited to attend. The hour begins with worship and a short devotional and the rest of the hour is spent in prayer.

Retreats

Big What is the high school fall weekend retreat, held in October each year. The destination is not announced to the students until they get on the bus.

Middle school fall retreat is generally held in September each year. The weekend is spent in fun activities, games, and a message series that digs deeper into some theological message in the Bible.

Renovatus is the all-youth weekend spring retreat that usually happens in March. Renovatus is specifically designated as a prayer retreat and includes a 24-hour prayer vigil, a fast, and a message series that focuses on different aspects of revival.

Leadership Teams

EQUIP is the middle school leadership team. Any 7th or 8th grader who regularly attends middle school events is invited during the spring to apply for the following year. EQUIP meets on Wednesday nights from 7:00-8:30 through the school year. EQUIP helps lead activities, create videos, and set up for TP each week. An EQUIP student is expected to commit for the entire year.

CREW is the behind-the-scenes leadership team for high school students. The team is open to all high school students. CREW sets up, decorates, and provides food for all special events. Students may continue serving in CREW all four years or may join for their freshman year in order to be considered for other leadership teams. CREW has meetings once a month during Sunday Morning.

Worship Team is a high school leadership team that leads worship music at all youth events. This team is open for students who are entering 10th grade or older and have musical talents or are interested in learning to run sound. Worship team members practice before performing on Sunday mornings, evenings, and Wednesday nights. Students may be on all three teams or on just one team.

TP Leaders are the small group leaders for middle school Timothy Project (TP). These students are specifically invited by the youth staff to be on this team. TP leaders receive training at 8:00 on Sunday mornings and then lead their groups during the Sunday Bible School hour. TP leaders must be entering 10th grade in order to be considered. Each leader is asked to commit three years to TP.

C2 Leaders are the student leaders who help plan and invite students to C2 events. The leadership team meets monthly and commits to being actively involved in the club. C2 leaders must be in high school and have a heart for sharing Jesus with their friends.
